I recently posted pix of this MBX Intergalactic Defense Rocket Transporter I was lucky enough to find:

Well today I checked out Dollar Tree for Wheel donors and found this:

I also picked up a white one like it that launches a plane of sorts. Now I can keep my MBX in the blister and mod the el cheapos. I thought they could be used as anti-terrorism props, sitting in a car lot or something.

Even the helicopter looks like an older MB cast. Looks like Mother Mattel did some housecleaning...

I didn't give much thought to the white transport truck set I got but that was a MBX release too:

The UFO in that goes with it that can be had for about $6 online. I imagined a more retro look:

Other than a place in the bed of the truck for the rocket to be stood up there isn't a way to ready it and it looked a little dated, so after considerable filing to square the windows and a stealthy paint job I fitted it with a plasma cannon weapons upgrade:

I'll post any further fun I get out of that $1...
