A few years ago, I picked up two Robby and two B9 kits by Polar Lights on sale at my local hobby shop. Over the weekend, I decided to a do a tandem build of each, straight out of the box, as test kits in order to find flaws and to experiment with paints. I primed the B9 sub-assemblies with black paint. I thought it looked pretty cool, so I figured I’d prime Robby in silver just to see how he looked. He looked interesting, too. Then an idea struck me to do this:

Don't look too close, because they aren't pretty .... just test builds. I'm really surprised nobody has done this before.
