... Thank you ...

Thank you for your encouraging words.

Bob, as soon as I finish them, I'll try to post
their finished images as well ... but the painting
steps are still my most challenging area. As such,
my progress seems to be rather slow, which may also
be the result of my being so meticulous (um, finicky). LOL.

Thank you fellas.
Glad you like them.

Well ... they is no longer as they was.
(??)
Progress has been made on both ... mainly
focused on highly-detailing their interiors.

 ;)

UPDATE 7-6-13

Hello once again, Friends.
I really like the SUGAR CADDY casting.
Mattel鈥檚 RLC re-tooling of it is spectacular,
and has been quite a lot of fun to modify.

... Below ...
Mods on this first piece currently include ...
... 鈥済host鈥 tampo removed.
... new wheel-set.
... lowered ride-height.
... chromed front-end, with layered 鈥減anels鈥.
... re-shaped steering wheel.

... Below ...
This second piece is the one I may
choose to modify 鈥榝ull-tilt-boogie鈥
similar to what I鈥檝e been able to
achieve thus far on my vintage 鈥71 鈥楥ADDY,
the one I鈥檝e nick-named CAD鈥橝PULT

The few mods currently shown ...
... all paint removed to expose Mattel鈥檚 chrome.
... new wheel-set.
... lowered ride-height.
... re-shaped steering wheel.

Good gosh, your customs are more than just custom model cars, they are fine works of art.
Gleaming jeweled gems.

Big barges like early Eldorados are among my favorite cars, so I especially like this thread!

Thanks for digging this one up again, I made the Eldo my screen saver!!

Thank You ... Thank You ... Thank You ...
to EACH one of you.

"Lummox" ... What an honor for me, that you chose
one of my "Kuztomz" as your screen-saver. So uh, which one ??
:D

They are un-painted pewter, so they're able to be carefully
(VERY carefully & slowly) slightly bent into a few poses.
The ones I have are true 1:64 scale. Call him if you
need any questions answered about his products.
He also sells most of them already detail-painted.

The one I chose of the Sugarcaddy is the 8TH one down in the 7th post in this thread.

It was hard to chose just one.

The 2nd pic in the 8th post is a favorite too.
The way the lighting is, it makes the car look like it's polished nickel.

Your creations look like candy. Almost good enough to eat!

Interesting coincidence ...
Those two images are two or my 'faves' as well.

As for looking like candy, that's the look I ultimately enjoy.
One of the reasons I most prefer to spray with Kandy Kolors.
(Ya'll please excuse the all-too-obvious pun. LOL LOL)

Thank You once again for your thoughtful replies.
