I have a T3 and were racing on a very slippery ,dry track most days. Running a 13.5 in them.

what rear tire is the best for these conditions ?

what rear tire would also work best on a wet track with traction ?

thanks

I have good success with IFMAR step pins on the rear on a dry track and pink tapers or equivalent for a hooked track.

Losi, Panther, Proline and other tire manufactures have all pretty much the same tire just made differently. I think the wave now is panther tires in the area of the country I run.

Have run wet hooked tracks with slicks and ran very well.

Hardpack, dry & dusty = Holeshots or something similar.

Loamy, damp, fluffy = Step pins. I prefer Prolines, they have shorter pins. Losi step pins are taller and seem to bend over and not grab.

Inbetween = IFMAR pins. I run these a bunch.

Bowties are versatile tires, but they destroy the foams quickly.
