These models were made by model maker George Turner. He made models for Lesney as well as other makers. These are 1:1 and I just added them to my collection.

The older Grand Prix car is a 1932 Bugatti Type 35. This was number Y11-4 in the "Models of Yesteryear range. Released in 1986 with 92,000 made. In 1990 this was modified to become Y11-5 a 1924 Bugatti Type 35 and 29,538 were made.

The cigar shaped GP car is a 1957 Maserati 250F number Y10-4. Issued in 1986 with a production run of 97,000.

You are correct. I was thinki g the 90's but it was the 80. Thanks for the update.
