Lets all bid .01c on his next auction when he re-posts and leave him a negative..... I bet he will stop posting stupid things like that in the future.... Can't believe people think we can not search the net for pictures of display cabinets for their measurements that we have to resort to bidding a penny for his picture.I'm guessing its just a way to get feedback????
All I can say is that is not the most inane item I've seen on the Bay.:freak:
Well, I'll chime in here, beginning with the 40-year collection. It's overpriced, and I'm not seeing anything made before I was born. I'd offer ol' boy $160 for the Dairy Deliveries. I'd try to go see the 300 Hot Wheels in person, and negotiate, before I let go of any money. I don't know enough about slot cars to say anything but they seem a little steeply priced. The guy asking $10 per car can't even take a decent picture. Not trying to start another ebay/scalper hating thread or anything. I'm just super bored at work and thought I'd share what I've been seeing on ebay today. Gotta love it!! weird thing is I can't seem to find anything that I really gotta have. Here are some others that are quite funny/ridiculous.
That alone should be a tip-off that you'll never get the money you're asking for out of an item, especially one that it's almost dead certain no one else will want. Then again, maybe I should pile a bunch of dog/cat hair (which I can obtain an ample supply of pretty easily) on a hokey Mainline car, brand it as "art," and ask some huge sum for it...These have extreme sentimental value to the artist
It happens because there are people out there that will bid.
