Reader's Digest is a monthly magazine periodical of American general interest family articles. They were originally based in Chappaqua, New York, but are now based in New York City. They were founded in 1922, by DeWitt and Lila Bell Wallace. They also published condensed versions of popular books.

Reader's Digest offered several different promotions to their subscribers both new and renewals beginning in the 1990s.

In the early 2000s, they offered a series of antique cars, trucks, fire equipment and a Southern Pacific 4 car train consist. Those castings were all made by High Speed.

In mid 2002, they again offered a series of premium 1:64 scale diecast from the 1950s and 1960s also made by High Speed.
