Reader's Digest is a monthly magazine periodical of American general interest family articles. They were originally based in Chappaqua, New York, but is now based in New York City. It was founded in 1922, by DeWitt and Lila Bell Wallace. They also published condensed versions of popular books.

Reader's Digest offered several different promotions to their subscribers beginning in the 1990s.

In the early 2000s, they offered a series of antique cars, trucks, fire equipent and a SP 4 car train consist. These castings were all made by High Speed.

In mid 2002, they again offered a series of premium 1:64 scale diecast from the 1950s and 1960s made by High Speed.
