Side shocks length?

Hey john I found the same thing on A KSG I looked at center the shocks with the rear pod level try and get as much travel as possible side to side I used 2 short rod ends and 2 long that I cut back one more than the other see if that helps? some of us are going to Maximus this Sun

Beefy Products Midnight Mayhem


Modified Event at Radical Rick’s Race City
MARCH 3rd-4th 2007


The door will open at 8pm for this event with a dinner preceding racing. The dinner will consist of Clam Boil, BBQ Chicken, & Burgers. ALL You Can Eat (or until the food is gone)

Qualifying will begin at midnight.

The cost for the event will be $30 with the dinner or $15 with no dinner.



There will be 2 classes during this event.

1. S/K MODIFIED

Ø Beefy SPEC Modified Style chassis (no chassis modifications)

Ø No Rear wings or body changes allowed

Ø 19 turn Chameleon spec motor only

Ø 4 cell Radical Rick’s spec battery pack

Ø Speed control must be rated to no more than 90 fwd current

Ø Orange front spec tires and green rear spec tires



2. TRUE VALUE MODIFIED

Ø 38oz Minimum weight

Ø Open to any Modified chassis (no 10th scale pan cars)

Ø 27 turn Stock motors

Ø Side and rear body lines must be present



Each class will run 3 qualifiers of 7 Minutes and a feature of 7 minutes.

All cars will drive to the tech area and be checked after each race. Drivers will then corner marshal the next race.

Best Practice Time?

Thurs before Racing is usually good they open at 12:00 and Wed nite Use to be good not sure now Fri Sat Sun NOT GOOD too many Partys and Kids useing the Track Hope this Helps

John stick with the top 3 cars Custom works,Hyperdrive Pro 3 Slider not solid,and KSG gen 2.This is just my opinion but these three most places you go will have some parts on the wall and other racers will have a starting setup for their track

THANKS guys for all the good words last night was awsome I think I finnally have a descent setup now my Custom Works Slider was on rails last night maybe I'll have to talk to KPM about some of that HP that Rick R had another GREAT night at Radical Rick's :thumbsup:
