I just want to take a second to thank brad for starting this thread and to also announce the starting in 2 weeks will be the Radical Rick's Winter Point Series (also brad's suggestion). The series will be 10 weeks long with 2 throwaway races and race 5 and 10 will be prize races. Races will be held on Thursdays as normal and the fist heat will roll out at 6:45pm with 2 5 min heats and a 5min feature. That’s all the details I have now. I'll let everyone know as things develop.

sorry brad i miss counted the weeks but yes the point series will start on FEB 1st the week after the regionals. Also the mid season All-Star race will be on MARCH 1st. This race will have a unique format. All car will have a 2 lap qualifying run to set the heats, then 50 lap heats and a 100 lap features with bump-up. So the winner of the C-Main can run the B-Main and so on. The last race will be held on APRIL 5th and will run a normal race with addional prizes. The next week APRIL 12 we will have a small buffet (seeing we all know how much we like to eat) and hand out the trophys.
If anyone has any sugestions about this or anything about Radical Rick's please drop us a post.

It would be to much to run on a thursday night but we are talking about a race in mid feb for the mods. Also just for your info we run our s/k's by the original rules, spec orange front tires, spec green rears, cheap spedo, no battery offset (unless its a solid chassis with no rear pod), a spec battery pack and 19t chameleon. We can work on trying to get any car within our rules. Just send a pm and we'll se what we can do.
Hmmmm! Well I'd need some spec tires. I have an original beefy car but it has the offset battery tray, I could reinstall the center tray. are there ries available at the track? Speedo maybe the only concern, I have a GT7 in the car.
If you dont have any older speedos like a explorer then u can use your gt-7 with a stock motor. i've tested this combo and i was 2nd fastest all night.
also scud, i will break out the good packs and kick your big old butt......then again i could just use that cheeter motor..lol...j/k
sorry guys can't make it this week. lucky if i can the following week but i'll be there for the start of the points series. not that you guys care i'm sure you need a break from me anyways...lol cya guys soon i may be up there tomorrow just to pick some stuff up quick.

want to join in on thursday night sometime.....I don't have a 1/10 scale pancar, only 1/12 scale. does anyone have a problem with a 1/12 scale joining the 1/10 scales just for a weekly race from time to time.......not points.....
I checked with the big guy and he said no. There's 2 much of a differance in the cars, Our track is tight and we wouldn't want your car to break when a heavier 1/10 scale car hits it. We could get you an L-3 for $75. We appericate you interest in racing with us. Thanks
o yea there was a couple of other guys that wanted to run 1/12 scale if we can get 3 or 4 together i'd be more thanb happy to run a class.

Still no answer on a single class for me to run so I can win? Sometime today Albernaz.lol.. Ha even when I finish no where near the top I am going to make the plaques so I will make one for me for being such a good guy...
Joe i could make you your own class and you still wouldn't win, some how brad would find a way to beat you....lol... and thanks for making the name plates for the trophys. Im sure your boss wont mind you doing it on company time.
Thanks to everyone for another great night of racing. It was nice to see Bill Pelcaine and Joe Allevo come race with us. Also the first week that brad didn't win (of course he didn't race). O and what happened to scud?????? I though I saw him leave with his tail between his legs......lol....j/k Mike

Mike the heats are set by the way you quailified the week prior or the last time you raced. If you are ref to me being ahead of you in the heats you ran 77laps at 5min 1.04sec, i ran 78laps 5min 3.15sec. so even thought you did beat me in the feature, I out quailified you on 1/11 so that set the quailifing order on 1/18. Hope this clearifys things.

Well after another fine night of racing, we saw some 1st's. John Defucso congrtas on making the A-main. You've done alot of work and learned alot. Sorry we had to rough you up but things happen a little faster when you get to this level. Chalk this up to experince. I dont think its your last time running the A. Bud you went from Slowhobbies back to Fasthobbies real quick conrgats on the win. but the best for last Rick R. our Pole Sitter, just because you were on the pole doesn't mean you have to jump over them. I didnt think a pan car could get 3 feet in the air...lol.... good luck to everyone at Maximus. Heath always puts on a great show.

Congrats to all of the drivers that ran the regional yesterday. everyone did great.
Now on to the start of the point series this week. We will be increasing the cost of racing to $12 with the extra $2 going into a point fund. ALL of the money will go to prizes at the end of the season and every driver that competes in the minimum 8 races will recive prize. So the more people race the better the prizes. Also another the BIG News is the BEEFY PRODUCTS MIDNGHT MODIFIED MADNESS RACE. This race will be held on March 3rd and Start at apx. 11pm and race through the night. In typical Radical Rick's fashion a dinner will proced the start of racing. Details will be posted by the end of the week.
Once again great job guys at the regionals i know i had a good time.
