hello, Im in the process of customizing a 1:18 1969 mustang boss and trying to turn it into a mustang coupe, i found several donors like a 1969 cougar and cutting of the roof on both cars and using the roof on the cougar to mustang. now my question is can you solder or can you weld these diecast? im thinking if i weld it would certainly melt the diecast or is there another way of doing it.

I would use J-B Weld Kwik to bond the pieces together.

What camaros said. JB-Kwik Weld is the way to go. It will bond diecast metal together quite well. It's basicly a two part epoxy like substance thats pretty darn hard once dried. You can find it at most hardware stores as well as Wall Mart.

okay thanks, where can i buy this stuff? I'm assuming a hobby store correct? what would be a good way to cut this?

walmart. thay make a 4min a 10min and 24hr . buy the 10 minute one.
jewlers saw or dremal using a disk.
