Hi,

Does anyone know if JL will be coming out the C6 Corvette, or any other company for that matter? I have already have other brands, but don't like how they did the front lights. I think JL would do an excellent job looking at other Corvettes they have made.

Any way, I finally signed up for Photobucket and took a picture of my ride today, which is the reason for my board name LOL! The picture isn't good as it was very cold outside and the sun wasn't out long, but will do for now. It has red calipers and a custom exhaust was just put on not too long ago. Here it is, let's see if the picture works:

The wing is like that on the real 1:1 1969 Charger Daytonas, as can be seen in the picture below:

*pic*

I would know because there is a 1:1 sitting in my garage as well.
As I asked in another thread a week or two back;

Clone, real? Pics? :)

Edit: Needs more sunset Orange metallic paint. :thumbsup: :wave:

Thanks! I got my Corvette about five months ago and it took me awhile to find one with all the options and in yellow. The 3000GT is my dad's, and is the twin turbo VR4. It's not nearly as fast as my car, but still fast! :thumbsup:

It is not a clone LOL! It is the real deal - here it is when it was being taken out of the trailer at my house (don't have any good pictures right now, will get a better one this spring or summer when it's nice outside). It is definitely a garage queen - 1800 miles, never titled, and all original:

Needs more black with red stripe, but beautiful all the same. :thumbsup:

We belong to the Daytona and Superbird club, and I've seen pictures of black ones with the red wing. It looks nice! This is Hemi Orange with the black wing, I love it! :thumbsup:

Site car collection, what is your daily driver?

Side note: That 3000GT in the back ground, is that the VR4 Twin Turbo with the flip-of-a-switch adjustable wing and flip-of-a-switch tunable engine?

My brother has one of those at his shop just sitting in the back, owner of shop doesn't wanna get rid of it... but never uses it either, just sits back there. For an import, very pretty car... AND QUICK.

My Corvette is the daily driver I use. The 3000GT does have the active aero package with the wing, and you can adjust the tuning of the engine and exhaust as well (to loud or quiet). It has all kinds of cool gadgets on it!

The insurance on my Corvette is actually quite reasonable, and keeps going down. I will turn 20 next month, and I work full time plus am in college full time as well. E-Bay supplements extra income for me.

As for the Daytona, I wish it was mine - that is my dad's, along with the 3000GT. The only car I own is my Corvette. By the way, how did you know how old I used to be? You must be an old member with a new name. :)

My dad bought it from the dealership who had it since new in 1969, and for decades, it was in his showroom until the late 90's when my dad got him to sell it.
