Can anyone tell me who makes aftermarket arms for the PL B-9? I've seen them but now can't find them.

Also same goes for PE. Or was there ever PE for the PL B-9?

I've searched and can't find either. Hope they're still available. If not, anyone got any they'd like to sell?

Thanks,

Thats not for the Polar Lights kit its for the dinky Moebius kit.

There have been some resin bubbles for the PL kit but IMHO the kit parts, dipped in Future, are as good or better than the resin ones. I don't recall any etch for the kit, but its not hard to make some details like the neck spinners from thin sheet plastic. I have seen a resin neck and some arms for the kit as well.

I have a multi-media set under development - PE parts plus resin (replacement arms, hands, neck, dome, etc.). It's based on the set currently available from CultTVman, with new neck, hands, dome, and brain (working in conjunction with Cult, not recasting his set).

I don't have an exact ETA or any word on pricing yet. Should be available in a month or so.

So your new set is for the old Aurora/PL model?

Paulbo, may the fleas of a thousand camels bless you! This is really good to know because this kit really needs it.

By chance did you figure out the mystery of how to make a new one piece bubble? But then again, it would be like a ship in a bottle trying to put the brains in it.

Look forward to it very much and will be a good excuse to buy another B-9. Which means I'm good for two sets!

Thanks again,

I am very interested as well Paulbo but is this set going to be for the older and larger scale Polar Lights B9 or the new and much smaller Moebius B9? I would like it for the older Polar Lights but I do realize that those are no longer manufactured so it would seem to be a rather dead end market. Let us know which model it will be for.

Since it was right after your post "Thats not for the Polar Lights kit its for the dinky Moebius kit." I assumed it was implied that the new set was, in fact, for the larger old Aurora/PL kit.

So that I'm more clear: The currently under-development set is for the larger old Aurora/PL kit.

That's great Paulbo, I will definitely be picking one of those up. I have the kit in my stash and when I get your new set that will definitely make me put it on the bench. Thanks for some great products.
