Joe Depinto may not make the NCS#2 race. His daughter was in a car accident this morning and as of right now she is still in surgery. I don't know much about it as of now I do believe Joe is there in Charlotte with her and we can all just hope for the best and pray she gets better. I'm getting all this from my dad who talked with Joe this morning. I will post more when I hear something else. Lets just keep them in our prayers please.

Thanks for the Prayers, kind words, emails, text, and phone calls....:thumbsup:

It is great to be a part of such a GREAT group of people, and friends.

She has a compound broken femur, and they had to use a rod, and three sets of pins to bring everything back together... she will be in the hospital for three days, and has about six weeks of recovery.

i don't know Joe, but any wreck is bad news...if it involves a family member, that is heart sinking....my boy is 18 and my phone is ALWAYS on alert.

that said, i'm glad the leg could be put back together.
Joe, as a parent i feel for you and your family.
Let your daughter know we all said a prayer for her and are glad to hear she's recovering.

Joe, hope everything goes well for her. I broke my femur in the 8th grade, had a cast from my toes to my hip for about 7 weeks. tell her no matter how bad it itch's dont try to scratch it with a coat hanger,felt good for a second then got stuck doc wasnt happy. Good luck and I will be thinking of you guys. Jeff G
