Poliguri was based in Lisbon and made their first series of diecast cars around the mid 1980s. They were called "Guri Car" and are branded Guri on the base.

Obviously inspired by the SIKU line of models they used 'Guri' letter branded wheel sets. Some of their castings are smaller than the standard 1:55 scale used by SIKU though. With their Mercedes-Benz model done in 1:66 scale and fitted with silver hubbed wheels. Their Fiat Una was made in near 1:52 scale and came in different colors with chromed 3 spoke wheels, a clear window piece and a red interior.
