Aye Captain! Good luck on the staircase, and thanks for the advice on the nacelle fitment.
I have felt them many times, they always feel the same, but I finally did get them to stay put without much profanity!
:)

Keep up the ideas guys. How else can the Nacelles be fitted to the support pylons? Feel free to come up with any clever idea for me!

Thanks!

Ok guys, does anyone have any more ideas on the FITMENT OF THE NACELLES?

And, no, my computer does NOT assist me in generating MODELS!

:)
Ok NWO this is the way I did it(sorry no pictures avail). I cut about 1/8 off, maybe a little more off the support pylon tab(the side that snaps on to the nacelle) and glue it. That tab is to long, at least that how my kit's part look like when I tried to put it together. Hope this helps. Anybody else would like to contribute?

Ok guys,
We have gotten a bit off topic on my thread.
I originally asked about the fitment of the NACELLES on the Polar Lights Enterprise.
:)
I don't think that word exists. In fact, I think that word is a fitment of your imagination. :) It does sound kind of cool, though. Kind of like if you combine fit and alignment.

That's a computer-assisted definition, of course :D.

Interesting!

Of course, when I made my previous statement, I was without my dictionary (I loaned it to a producer, and I still haven't retrieved it) to validate my claim. In all my years, I have not ever heard that word spoken or seen it in print. Now, I expect to hear it several times in short order!

My apology to NWO for my making a bad call on this. Thanks, John. I should have known better. :)

And ya know, I didn't even know there was a "dictionary.com" until I typed it into the URL field on a whim. You don't need reference books if you're already on line.

Unless

A) your computer crashes
B) your ISP crashes
C) your connection drops due to weather etc.
D) (insert other creative disastrous scenario here!)

I still like having some paper around!

No no, if it were in my imagination it would be a FIGMENT. If it were in my skin it would be a PIGMENT. I do know that FITMENT is a real word, and know its usage.

However TREK ACE, I do accept your apology, as we are all friends here!

Now can we get back to more suggestions for the proper FITMENT of the Nacelles on the POLAR LIGHTS TOS ENTERPRISE MODEL? :)

Keep em coming, guys!

And yet, I found a definition in 45 seconds that you couldn't locate without your primitive treehide implement handy. HA, I say! :D
