Will a standard 48 pitch pinion gear from Robinson Racing parts mesh up to the Traxxas slash 76 or 83 tooth spur gears, or does the slash spur gear take a spiecal metric pinion gear? i want to run a 17.5 novak, from what the charts say if i use a 76 tooth spu gear i need to use a 29 or 30 tooth pinion gear,if i run the 83 tooth spur gear i need to use a 32 or 33 tooth pinion gear, from looking at the traxxas web page traxxas doesnt make any pinion gear higher then a 28 tooth pinion for the slash, to be in the range i need to be i need to run the higher pinions to come close to a 7.1 FDR.using a 86 tooth spur gear is out of the question because i would have to us a 33 or 34 tooth pinion gear and there isnt enought adjustment on the tranny case of the slash to make a 33 or 34 tooth pinion work, i could use the help on this thank you

so which combo would be better the 32,33-83 or the 29,30-76 so over heating wont be a problem and not have tire spin and have the torc to handle the jumps?
