Happy New Year to All, :wave:
My question, can I paint diecast with acrylic paint using an airbrush and then clear it?? I have stripped the paint down to bare metal and primed it.

I would guess, you should be alright with a urethane,or enamel clearcoat.
When in doubt,practice on a beater

the acrylic paint works good on diecast it dries fast so ya can do color fades good with it i clear mine with krylon acrylic clear.just make sure its all dry.i think these were done with acrylics but i cant be sure.got that old age thing(crs)going on lol hope this helps ya ttfn johnny :cool:

note: just be sure it's acrylic enamel and not acrylic lacquer,

I made that mistake on a detailed ,1:24 plastic model one time...what a mess!:freak:
