Infineon Raceway (formerly Sears Point) had their annual blood drive today to help kick off the racing season. If you signed up to donate you got a free hot lap around the track. The original plan was to let the first 50 (I was in that 50) that scheduled an appointment to donate would get their lap in an early 90's Cup car. Unfortunately Mother Nature changed that by making everything wet. We all still got our hot laps but they came in the form of a new Toyota Camry. I know it's not a Cup car on a super speedway but going 90 in the rain on a road course was still alot of fun. You couldn't see much when they hit a couple of the big puddles. The professional drivers even gave us some extra thrills by doing some passing on the turns.
Can't wait for next year. :)

Sounds like a real good time Rick!
too bad about the 'cup car', that would have been a real thrill.
I used to give blood all the time, but the doctor suggested I give up hockey.
