I blame the episode of Medium that aired three weeks ago. Same plot.

Oh, SNAP! :eek: Thankfully no one was killed. Hope those folks who were injured weren't serious.


Funny, tho, I thought that link was going to lead to something I just saw on CNN about some of the other astronauts talking about Nowak on her previous shuttle mission. They've not got anything nice to say about her, either....

Damn, more bad news, apparently Wally Schirra died this morning, though of course that's not NASA's fault.

Unless, of course, he's one of the ones who claimed to see UFO's ? Hmmmm ???

If Wally had seen a UFO, nobody would have ever made him shut-up about it. Wally always has a few issues with authority, most notably on Apollo 7 when he essentially told mission control that he wasn't putting on his helmet for re-entry despite orders to(he had a cold), and there wasn't a darn thing they could do about it.

The guy was a true original. And he flew on all three programs, Mercury, Gemini, and Apollo.
