Ok so I'm a grown man now but back in 1976 I had some sweet hot wheels. I wish I could remember who the little turd was that I gave them too. So I did have a few that I kept and =one is a 36 ford coupe, solid purple, white inter with black backrest seat.....well I guess I didn't like purple so I used some Estes model paint, It turned out nice...silver mixed with blue...but it kind of sucks now. Im not sure it will come off but it seems to flake off pretty nice...so Im guessing a pressure washer is out of the question? any ideas??

Welcome to the boards @Joseph Denton Garwood :cheers2:

Did you brush it on or spray paint?

When it is flaking off - is the purple paint coming off as well? If not - keep flaking it off as much as you can.

If you are brave and you have a hobby mask and gloves, you can buy paint stripper from Auto zone, be careful, its caustic, Good luck, and welcome aboard!

In some cases patiently buffing with a rag soaked with WD-40 will remove the paint over without damaging the original paint.

Some folks actually collect these works of art and they are called a "Kiddo".

A friend found this car and mailed it to me ...
