In the lot, that also contained the DS with Alpine racer, these couple of old Bernards were included. These date from 1965 - 1967.

First, the very old long wheelbase Bernards. This truck originally came with a 'scraper', made all from plastic. Unfortunately I don't have the load for this one.
I have not yet seen this color before.

Painted the same dark green color, is this very nice garbage truck! Also labelled as Rail//Route.

New to my collection in any version, are these remains of the ladder truck. I'm sure I will find a ladder someday to complete this truck.

A kipper Bernard just released after de 'Ville Megeve' series. How to tell? Well, after close view of the doors these reveal a rectangle that covers where once the Ville Megeve text was casted. This is a variation just recently discovered at the Rail//Route forum.

Those are cool...I didn't realize that Majorette had a diecast history. Majorettes were always my favorites as a kid. I loved the "suspension" and the realism of the castings even as a kid.

Thanks for sharing...I am definetely going to start looking for some older Majorettes

And another bunch, recently added.

The blue low loader: haven't seen this color before.
Yellow truck: only knew this color existed on 200 models, not on 300.
Also special about this truck is the plastic used for the chassis: it is a hard plastic, but in an unusual color (normally you will find the gray metallic soft plastic)

Log trucks: two versions of the log trailer I didn't have yet. The orange Bernard is also special, as it has a hole to attach a 'dump', not the usual pins.

Closeup of the differences. In the back is one of the last versions used by Majorette. Also very noticable is the 'dump' hole attachment on the front truck.

Ooooh yes, I GOT IT!!!! One of my holy grails!!!
A Rail//Route Bernard with opening doors!!! (please don't mention the doors are missing, I haven't noticed that yet...)

It is by far the winner of the worst condition car in my collection. But it is sooo cool... Even in this condition!

Each time I think 'well, let's slow down with the Bernard finds for a while', but each new addition is special again!

For comparison I pictured the successor of the No. 6 from 1966. The open door version is from 1965.

I was looking at this pic and was fixing to ask where the doors were. I guess I'll wait for you to notice them :D
