Well, as some of you might of known, I currently reside with my Mom. I was out on my own a while back renting apartments when i got sick and tired of throwing money down the drain in 'rent'. Well, I moved back in with my mom a couple years ago as i got my ducks in a row, and saved up some money.

Long story short, I'm on the hunt for a place to call my own. Saturday I looked at a little townhouse and that day put in an offer to purchase it. Will be my first house I can call my home, decorate the way i want, and do what i want with.

Needless to say this is one of the reasons why I have not been as active on the board as i used to. (other reason is the transplant of a s/c engine into my Toronado)

So hopefully by next month I will be posting on here in the comfort of my OWN living room... or bedroom, or wherever i decide to set up the computer, either way it will be mine. :wave:

Congrats and good luck!!! :thumbsup: I just bought my first home 2 1/2 years ago, and I love it. No rent and no landlords. My problem was roommates constently wanting to move, just when I was comfortable. Never again.

UPDATE!

They accepted my offer (they forking out $3k towards closing costs). Did the home inspection and had a few things that needs addressing, but nothing major and a couple weekends cant fix (plus connections for the flooring at my work)

Needless to say in a couple weeks I'll be moving in !
