Thanks Wyatt for the link. Fastenating reading.
I never get tired of reading info on cars from this period.
The Z-28 is a wonderful story.
Did you know that Chevrolet Division built a one of a kind 1968 Z-28 convertible for Pete Estes.
JL made a replica of it that was featured in 35th Anniversay Camaro release 4.

An excellent source for historical Camaro info is a wonderful book called "Camaro: From Challenger to Champion", now out of print but well worth finding. It's an in depth and accurate look at the history of the Camaro (and the Z28) from developement to the publishing date of 1982!

The 1968 Z-28 convertible indeed was 1 of 1.
A very interesting vehicle.
Petes Estes was the General Manager of Chevrolet Division back in those days.
I am glad that JL actually made a copy of it for posterity and historical purposes.
It must have been difficult to find the picture that was used in the photocard.
I sure would love to have a 24 x 30 copy of that picture hanging on my wall.
