Just saw this on the news. Seems this "family" was on their way to a casino in Eastern, CT. Along the way, they stopped at a rest area and evidently left their 3 year old child behind. Seems no one in the three vehicle convoy was bright enough to notice that someone was missing. Fortunately an alert attendant found the child and alerted authorities until the family returned to get the child.
Not sure if there's any truth to the rumor that the family discovered the child was missing when they went to place their first bet! :jest: (OK, I made that last part up but the rest of it was true!)
It's amazing to me that they gave the child back. Anyone dumb enough to leave a child behind and on their way to the best place in the world to bring a kid, A CASINO!!! is a greater threat to themselves in my opinion!
