Any member here to help, I would appreciate it! I bought a Motorola cheap cell phone, as a back-up, in cas my phone gets wet, or gets damaged. It is set up for my carrier, but when I put my Simm card in, and turn it on, it does request a password? Is this password my choice, or do I need one that is furnished with the phone? If it is my choice to furnish a password, would it need a certain amount of characters, numbers, etc. Thanks for your help, Al.

That's usually the generic password. Or bring it to your carrier and have them give you a new sim card.

No luck yet, the phone is a motorola V-190 GSM originally made for Cingular, but it does take my AT&T sim. I tried looking on-line, but I think that AT&T might tell me the code I need?
