If it's from a dealer, make them give you one!

When we bought our dodge truck back in 2002 they gave me a carfax that said the truck was clean .... well after we got home with our less than a year old truck at the time. I found in the map pocket behind the seat, papers for a claim to have the truck repaired because it had been railed on the pass. side (about $4500.00 ) worth of damage. Called the dealer and they said they couldnt do anything about it . So I called the phone # on the claim papers and they told me it was true repairs had been done but the catch was the owner at the time paid the repair bill before the claim check was issued . So the claim does not go through carfax due to the third party (owner) paying for the repair out of his pocket .
So dont believe everything you get from them as it is not always true

I ran one through Autocheck.com and it came out pretty good for the price( the check). WE put a deposit down on the car,and going to pick it up on Thursday/Friday

My son had to replace his car and got a great deal on a 2000 Acura TL. We got it from some folks we know but still ran a CarFax, which was good. I'm also getting the service records from the Acura dealer. This ride was very well maintained.
