Don't know if this has come up here before, but I thought it would be neat to see what/how many car names we can come up with that have an actual animal as a model name. It needs to be an actual critter, a type of animal or fish (no insects like Spider or Hornet) please. Could be the kind of animal itself (ie: Mercury Cougar) or a "version" of an animal (ie: Mustang, as in a type of horse).

A sister thread will be posted on the "Garage" for cars named after actual places/locations.

I believe its in the horse family, there was a minor league bb team used to be the Brewers, I think they had it in there logo, if not ohwell, I WAS WRONG ONCE BEFORE.

would you consider a Firebird a real animal? how about a thunderbird? :)

How about Oldsmobile.... uhhhhh hurmmmm.... appears Oldsmobile didn't stoop down low to name there cars after animals :p
