Anybody got any ideas on hood options for the O goes HO 49 Mercury. I like the body, but just don't like the exposed engine. Would like to take the motor out and put a hood of some sort on it instead. Ideas anyone?

I actually have one myself and consisdered the same thing , if i do it I woud fll it with bondo and sand / shape it the best i could

maybe a thin piece of styrene, heated up and bent to shape?

I think he used a 56 ford pickup hood to fill the gap.

I'm not much on hoodless cars myself. Best I remember, I ground down the radiator flat with the grill...RM
