Founded by Mark Daddio in 1990, Nutmeg Collectibles made sprint and modified race cars from Matchbox castings. This relationship ended in 1994 with Parlor City Toys taking over this production line. During this time frame Nutmeg also used some Ertl castings for their conversions. Around 2003, Dave's Racing Collectibles of Bethel, Connecticut aquired this company from Parlor City with the production of these modified race cars done by Ertl and sales under the Nutmeg brand name.
