The Captain America kit is reported to be close but I'm not seeing any of the tell-tale signs that usually accompany a new kit several weeks before its arrival.

> The PL website doesn't mention the kit

> Doll & Hobby doesn't have it listed as a pre-order option

> No sign of it on E-bay.

How about a little reassurance there powers-to-be

The Web Site hasn't been updated in quite a while too.

But Dave said the Captain was coming soon.

I too am anxiously awaiting the arrival of PL Super-sized Captain America. As I've said in previous posts...I love to display the old with the new for comparison and conversation.

What an AWESOME idea to help re-invigorate the hobby for both the builder and the collector!

I agree...at least updating the website would make us feel alittle closer to reality!

John,
What are you saying here?

Ahemmmm....I work for my money as well. You just have to get lucky and find one that might need alittle work to it (e-place)...and then put your skills to work!
This kit is still obtainable...how do you think I got mine?

All the more reason that we'd like PL to re-issue these kits!

Relax! Don't get your boxers all up in a wad!!
The kit is coming for sure! I just approved a packaged shot the other day
My Calendar says September 15.
My recollection is that I've always said "Octoberish" for delivery.
I'm guessing it will arrive in that time frame.

DING DONG!

I get a little tired of all the gloom and doom!
Would some of these guys like some cheese with their whine??
I've also been around the model kit business for more than thirty years, mostly as a buyer.
I can't begin to count or remember the number of kits that shipped late in those years(that has to be a big number!).
Precise predictions of shipping dates for model kits has never been refined to an exact science by any kit manufacturer I know of!

Actually, some wine and cheese sounds good! That's what I get for reading these boards at supper time!

And to sort of keep this post on topic, even though I'm a Canuck, as a kid, I always thought Captain America was very cool! I'm not much of a figure kit buyer, but this one is kind of tempting!
