Just received my die-casts of my blue 1969 Dodge Dart Swinger 340. Nicely done. The 340 hood, stripe, Dodge emblems, roof emblems, vinyl top, chrome,
all well detailed. I hope everyone else likes it as much as I do.
By the way, the turquoise engine color and black air cleaner is correct.

I"m ooking forward to picking this one up Mike. I think that might be hard to do around here though. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

This is one of those castings that had no excitement for me until I saw it. WOW did it turn out very nice. One of the best detailed and proportion looking castings to date. Usually I'm excited about a casting and the execution leaves me cold. This was the opposite....the completed car is really outstanding!

I'm the original owner of the Dart. The way you see it is the way it came out of the showroom. It is a treat to have the car recognized like that. BTW, they even got my dual exhaust correct. I have the correct exhaust and exhaust tips that are original to the car. You have to look close to see it, but it is there.
Check out Cool's thread. He shows a picture of a WL of the Dart. I received 2 cases and didn't get a WL.

Like the Dart??? I LOVE it!!! I got 3 of 'em; gave 1 to dear old Dad for a birthday present (he turned the big 7-5) and as I said in a previous post, he owned a Dart back in '69 (Blue, ironically) the other 2 are going in my Mopar collection....I may "customize" one at a later time into a Pro-Stock "Dandy Dick Landy" Dart! Thanks, JL/PM/RC2....or whatever you call yourself now!

Congrats on your Dart forever being immortalized! It really is a cool thing.
I'm hoping they use my buddies white 440 Dart for an upcoming release:

Nice looking 440 Dart.
BTW, if you look at the hood insert of the die-cast with a magnifying glass, they got the "340 four barrel" in the right colors and proportion. They also got the detail on the headlight bezels correct. Of course, I gave them close up photos of all these things and the emblems. Every close up I gave them, they used and did it right.

Cool Mike, I may get to see a 69 440 GTS yet, CONGRATS!!!

Don
How 'bout a Grand Spaulding Sport GTS (Black with a red stripe, like the Revell kit) and a GSS sticker where the trading card would be in the blister? :D

I always love castings that have never been done before, and (save for the Muscle Machines cartoon) this certainly qualifies. Well done, Tony K!
