The moment has finally arrived. Thanks to all who provided great advice, tutorials, and aftermarket parts for this great model. Here is a link to the build page for those of you who are new and/or have not seen the steps taken to achieve this end result.

And here is the link to the completed pics.

Along with some preview pics...I'll post some more pics in the album tomorrow. If anyone wants any particular shots, I'd be more than happy to snap 'em. Thanks again to everyone and hope you enjoyed following along. See you on the next build!

You know what I just realized?

NO ONE can EVER build a PL Refit WITHOUT having those saucer spot lights!
It’s a bar everyone now needs to cross….. damn you Raython for inventing this technique!

Looking very very nice.. although the spots have a wee bit to much of a yellow touch for me on some of the pictures.. might be a camera thing though.

That tends to happen due to the enamel paint. You can use a latex vehicle paint, but the latex adheres to the vinyl aztec templates and it peels off with said template. I can live with the yellowing for a good aztec effect. Thanks!

Fantastic work Zeno!

I'm using the same DLM flasher board for mine....but it looks like i may have knackered it a bit......(very little electronics experience.....ie...none...)

Looks good mate, how about an mpg.?

Congrats!

No problem. I am on a break at work right now, so when I get home, I'll post one. You want a fancy edited one or just one showing the effects?

Hey zeno - the links above both go to the photobucket site. Where is your build-up page?

BTW, I think your ship looks terrific.

When I refer to the build-up page, those are it. I lack the "net" experience to have an ACTUAL build-up page, so photobucket is it. Thanks everyone for your nice words!

Thanks Ray! You were the inspiration! Here are a couple of Vids for Lizzybus of the lighting. The second one is prior to the detail paint and decals. The first is of the completed model taken today. My camera is not very good, so the quality will have to do. Hope they are ok. Also included some new detail pics.
