Not only that. To top it all off, it was more expensive than a regular "mainline" Matchbox. $2.50 against $1.07 (New Zealand dollars). As we might exclaim here: cheeky buggers!

You mean it didn't come with the meal free of extra charge? Cheapskates.

I recall ordering McDonalds Happy Meals way past the age I should have been, just for the toy inside. Back around 1989, they had a Batman movie promotion, and I got a pretty nice Batmobile of about 1:87. All plastic, but I played with it a lot... These days I just say no to most all fast food and soda except for rare occasions.

I have to ask. How many models are in this series? I find no information on the Burger King website. Is this a New Zealand or does it appear in Australia too?

:) :D :p

I saw 3 models advertised in a photo but they only had this one left. I think the promotion started in June here. It did come with a kids menu but I didn't want to get that, I walked up to the counter and just asked if I could buy them separately. In fact, when I went to buy it, I did not know it would be 100% plastic.
