I found this JL 1953 Packard Caribbean on a shelf at a TRU... Never seen this casting, the package was kinda waisted and old style. Looked alot like the 40th package. It even says "New Casting" on the package... Quality is excellent !!!

Yes, originally a Racing Champions. I agree that this is an excellent casting. I prefer this JL green over the red on my sample of the old RC. The delicate "Packard" script tampo on the continental kit is a nice touch. Too bad that so many of the new JL series castings, like this Packard, have "glass" that is clouded. - ranchero -

I've notice cloudy glass to lately.
Super pics as all ways Stangfreak.
The grill looks sorta funny to me though. Like the top grill bar is to flat looking. Also I don't think the rear half of the car is supposed to pitch downward like that. Not liking these wires either. JL has better ones right in it's own arsenal. Just me being picky and anal I guess.
