GreenLight Announces Release of Brand New 1:64th Dioramas!

INDIANAPOLIS, IN (November 23, 2009)
GreenLight is excited to announce the release of brand new 1:64th Dioramas! This first assortment is composed of four different scenes from popular GreenLight lines such as Auction Block, Hot Pursuit and County Roads. The other diorama is a scene from Bullitt- a first for GreenLight!

Warner Brothers and GreenLight LLC have come together to recreate one of the most famous car chases in movie history. Bullitt, produced in 1968, is an American classic starring Steve McQueen best-remembered for the 1968 Ford Mustang and 1968 Dodge Charger influential car chase. This thriller won an Oscar along with multiple other wins and nominations through the Academy Awards, American Cinema Editors, BAFTA Awards, Edgar Allan Poe Awards, Laurel Awards, Motion Picture Sound Editors, National Film Preservation Board, National Society of Film Critics Awards and the Society of Camera Operators. GreenLight brings you a one-of-a-kind diorama of the infamous chase scene complete with 1:64 scale die-cast replicas of the two vehicles.

1:64th GreenLight Dioramas Series 1 Assortment includes:
-Bullitt/Steve McQueen- 1968 Ford Mustang & 1968 Dodge Charger
-2008 Crown Victoria Wisconsin State Patrol & 2009 Corvette C6, Police Officer Character Included
-2010 Chevy Camaro SS, Auction Attendee Characters Included
-1972 Chevy C-10 with Large Camper, Camper Characters Included

These replicas feature opening hoods, detailed engines, real rubber tires, metal body and chassis, detailed graphics, custom license plates and are officially licensed by Ford®, Chrysler Group LLC®, Chevrolet ®, Warner Bros® Entertainment Inc and the Chadwick McQueen and The Terry McQueen Testamentary Trust. This release will be available in January 2010 at Toys ‘R’ Us, Toys ‘R’ Us Australia, Kmart and your favorite hobby shops and online dealers!

Very cool, I do hope (like with the tools) that GL will sell the figures on thier own. I like the dios, but am more interested in the people. Though I have to say, that Bullitt set is pretty striking!

Are there going to be little Steve McQueens and little bad guys inside the Bullitt cars or are they empty?

Are you serious????? They listen more than any other diecast company in buisness today. What do you think they arnt listening to.
