What is the country of origin on the base plate? US or Hong Kong

We recommend using the ebay sold listings to determine current market values. That is a little bit of a chore now with varying shipping costs around the world and if that is added to the sold cost or included in the price requested. Condition is also a big factor and you need to search for castings that match up to your casting condition which is fair in my opinion. Depending on how you want to sell your castings you can filter down your search to just the USA or even your immediate local area.

Everyone's monitors will render a different color depending on settings, age and room lighting but I would also call this a rose color if it is a USA casting.

Which means I would still like to see a picture of the base plate to see the information included there. I am not currently aware of hybrid build castings but Hot Wheels did send parts to Hong Kong for assembly of other known castings and it is just an elimination step for the Hot Heap.
