Hi guys,

I just got around to starting my restoration on an old AURORA Flying Sub. I thought all the parts were there, but I'm missing one.

So.. hoping someone might have a broken ship (and parts lying around), as I need one of the Overhead braces. It can be any one of these circular beam parts (part 58, 59, 60, 61, 62 or 63).

If anyone has one they can part with please LMK.

Regards,

Geoff

(Happy turkey day to all too)

I wish I could help Geoff, but it's one kit I don't have.
Surely there's someone out there with a busted kit that might have that part....

I don't have one but it would be real easy to make from some thick Evergreen... a 5 min job tops.
Yes, I suppose you could take some channel-section stock of the right size, drill those eleven itty-bitty holes, heat it a bit and bend it to the right curvature. But if you can do it in five minutes, you must be this guy!

Same principle... I would take some thinner evergreen, and drill holes in a row. Then cut it into a strip. For the top and bottom, use some thicker pre cut Evergreen strip, and bow it a bit so its curved. Just glue the hole strip between the top and bottom cap strips.
