If you've never seen it, there's a copy of the Fantasy Modeling issue from '80 at the 'bay. Has Andy Yanchus' article about his time at Aurora. Plus lots of neat scratchwork in other articles. Had this and several other issues when I was a kid. Good read.

Right, and this guy knows the most likely target audience of interest (given all the pics)...seller of the others did not, at a glance.

That is because the seller of most of the others is Mile High Comics.
They sell litteraly millions of comics and magazines a year.
So they don't do big descriptions. Just general ones on the overall quality of the book being sold.
