Hi all,

Here are my 1/18 modified models.

BMW Mini Cooper (Burago)
Totally smoothed bodywork re-sprayed in Matt Black with Fluorescent yellow mirrors & wheels. Also added a dvd screen & s/s exhaust. Also done a 1/24 scale one to match.

Ford Escort Mk3 (Sunstar)
Added some EsCos wheels, s/s exhaust, ICE & an 1.6 XR3 engine. Soon to have flocked seats.

Ford Escort RS Cosworth WRC Road Car (UT)

Ford Focus ST (Powco)
Orignally Electric orange, resprayed in Ford Sea Grey (replica of my real car).

Ford Transit (Powco)
White: added jada chrome alloys with drilled & grooved brakes.
Blue: Nissan 350z alloys, brembo brakes, de-tango'd headlights, dvd screen & twin s/s exhaust.

I really like that Mini Cooper and that Escort Cosworth. I saw a lot of nice pix of the Cosworth when I was researching my Escort Rally. That Mini looks like it could be a real car if you just showed somebody the picture.

Thank you for the nice comments. I love doing them but have a real trouble with where to put them. Would love to have a room with floor to celing cabinets for them but just dont have the space.

I like the transit customs - not something I expected in 1/18th scale.

The Transit isnt the sort of model that i'de thought would have been made. The white is how it comes & they do them in a baby blue aswell. Their only plastic aswell, not the normal metal diecast & have friction engines aswell.

Some ive seen on eBay are amazing. Someone made it longer so it was a flat bed lorry with enough space for another 1/18 on the back.

Yeah it is quite big. Its actually bigger in Germany, well going by eBay anway. If you search for 1/18 tuning on eBay.de it brings up loads of parts & cars. some are 300euros +

Another one of the forums im on, theres a thread with over 5800 posts on about modifing models cars. Its actually a Ford car site, real cars not models.
