I went bikini shopping today to be sure my mystery recipient actually got something he wanted as opposed to only digging through my stash. Brought this home for myself:


And my brother changed the oil in his car, and the case of oil he bought included a John Force Funny car from Lionel:

I just wish this opened up. It's a funny car, after all!

I don't imagine it would be too difficult to make a hinge for the funny-car, either. Why this wasn't done from the factory, I've no idea. Seems pointless to have a funny-car with a screwed-down body.

I hear ya on that :rolleyes:

Just another way to cut corners to rush a diecast product out to the market.



It is diecast right tolenmar ?? I do not follow NHRA stuff so I have no clue if its plastic or diecast that is why I am asking.

It is. I'm due an oil change myself. Once we get my wife's problems resolved (back in the hospital again...sigh), I'll see if there are more and maybe different drivers.
