I recently seized my 12hp briggs motor on a murray. I have access to a craftsman 12hp briggs motor, but I want to make sure it's compatible before ripping it out. Does anybody know if the crankshaft is spaced the same for both motors? Thanks.

They will have the same footprint, and most probably the end of the crankshaft will be the same configuration, but chk to make sure.
