Hello,
I just replaced the big can looking muffler that screws on with pipe thread on my 10 horse. Wondering why there is one screw hole on the backside of the muffler? It blows significant air out this hole in the back. What happens if ya run a screw in there and plug it up? Just curious as to it's being there.

Ahh... it's not air it's blowing out. Should not be any problem running a screw in there to block it off. It may be there to attach to a support bracket on some applications.

Ahhh, good point a support bracket. Never thought of that. I am guessing by not air blowing out, you mean it is exhaust gasses blowing out of the engine.
