i have this mtd snowblower that floods easy and it seems to leaks gas from a hole in the carb, this is a mtd 3 hp techumsun engine with a carb with a float, i think the hole needs a small bearing to plug it up, what can i do, any suggestions and help is greatly appriated, thanks in avanced.:wave::wave:

Without the engine brand, model number, etc. I can only give you generic advice. Post the numbers if you need additional help.

The carburetor most likely needs cleaning and a carburetor kit installed to replace old parts. Sounds like the float valve is sticking allowing fuel to continually flow into carburetor. Very likely, the engine oil is contaminated with gasoline. The gasoline dilutes the oil and if you run it this way, you risk damaging the engine.

hey thanks guys i just figured it out ,i have the spring in the wrong position in the carb,thanks again airman and hankster for the very good info.:wave::wave::wave::wave:
