Looks perfect, just like the box art!

I got one of these kits for X-mas and I hope to have it built for the Library Display I'm putting on for January 4th 2010.

I think that's Chinese.
Originally, perhaps, but the Japanese "borrowed" many characters from the Chinese about 2000 years ago, probably as the result of trade with the Chinese. The characters look the same as the Chinese version, but often have different meaning and pronunciation. These Chinese characters are known as kanji in Japan, and tens of thousands of them are still used in the Japanese language to this day.

Later, Japan developed its own uniques writing system in the form of hiragana and katakana, which are themselves highly simplified version of Chinese characters. Together, these 3 systems make up the Japanese language.

OK, history lesson over. Go back to building!

P.S. - Great job, Yasutoshi!
