The Micros are way cool.
Cool! I didn't know they had buildings for the MM's. :)
Nice collection of the classics :)

They made a lot of different playsets over the years. These are "Hiways and Biways" and made in the early 1990s.
Yes, there were all sorts of cool playsets for Micro Machines. I never got any when they were on the store shelves, but I did recently pick up two sealed Travel City Fold-Up Playsets from the brand's early years. They are no longer sealed, I might add.
Those bring back some great memories!

I still have a BTTF Texaco with a Delorean and police car. Opened but mint. My dad worked for Texaco and we lived in LA when the BTTF ride at Universal Studios came out, they gave me the MM (or maybe some other company) set. It's been collecting dust for years, if you'd like it I will send it along.
If your offering it to me all take it I don't have the delorean
That play set is really cool and cute.
I didn't have any MM's growing up, but I remember them well.
I remember that ads with thatfasttalkingguy even more.

There was two different releases of BTTF in micro form, neither one was Micro Machines. One had a three pack with the Delorean, and cop car and taxi from the future. These were quite narrow looking compared to most micros. The other one had the Delorean and the cop car, and was stapled to the back of the hoverport gas station from the future. (This was probably the set you had, since it was a Texaco station)

Out of the street corners sets, I have the showroom, Jiffy Lube, Shell gas station, and the house (which is officially referred to as 27 Maple Avenue). I've seen a picture of the 7-Eleven set before but up until I saw that video, I didn't know that there was also a Jack in the Box set!

Here's my BTTF Texaco station, which I found at a Goodwill last year. Ignore the $1.29 price sticker - it only cost me 49 cents.
