I went to a sports bar up in Marathon to watch the Kentucky Derby, and found this miniature Miami Beach in the restaurant. I'd been there once before, but don't recall seeing it.
It was made locally, entirely of Legos, and populated with all manner of Lego people and assorted diecast. It's a faithful recreation of the famous art deco strip on Miami Beach, and I would estimate the whole thing was a good twenty feet long or more. Each building is modeled after a real one.
There is a whole lot more there I didn't photograph, and there is so much funny stuff going on with the Lego people in the street. But the lighting wasn't so great for picture taking, so this is what I got. Enjoy!
