Hey guys I just bought a used mini t off a guy at the local track and have a few questions about it. first I wanted to go brushless but for the competition x package from castle or the mini rage extreme from tekin are boath around 140 I have figured out that if i go with trinitys 380 size motor and a speedo from them i will end up saving about 40 dolars that i can spend on something else. so I was just wondering what you guys think about the trinity motors. are they to good to be true? also I was wondering what kinds of ni-mh packs you guys recomend for the mini t? also I want to know what you guys think are essential upgrades for the mini t to make it race ready because I am going to be racing it on carpet oval.

THANKS

Sean, If your going to run brushless anything you can buy to strengthen the front end and chassis is money well spent. A couple of guys used to run them with mambas at our carpet oval with 7-cells or lipos and they wer ballistic. They would drive them around the track as fast as they could control them and then hit full throttle in the middle of the straight and they would lift the front wheels.

so do you think that the mamba competiton package would be plenty of power with 6 cells. because i want it to be fast but i have herd from some of the guys who run the 8000kv motors that it is just to much and they end up turning down the power anyways so if i can get away with the cheaper kit and spend more on the car i would be a happy man.

THANKS
