Hello everyone,

I have a class project to build an arduino mini sumo robot. I do not know the exact dimensions off the top of my head but it will be small. The weight limit is 2kg. My next step in the build is to determine what motor and gear ratio (I would prefer to use a motor gearbox combo) to buy. My budget for the whole project is $63. So I would say motors need to be about $25 total.

I am looking for some recommendations because I don't know much about gear ratios and hobby motors. I think I will use two motors because I don't think 4-wheel drive with be possible with the budget. I need enough torque to be able to push enemy robots out of the circle but enough speed to get to them before they get to me.

There is a chance I will also be running tracks on this robot.

Thanks
