Based in China, Mega Speed labeled castings were distributed by Midwestern Home Products and Polyfect Toys. Summer was believed to be the manufacturer of this brand of products, as they used the same distributors and their casting design similarities. But, this has never been confirmed. Their line up of available castings included many models said to be previously released by either Johnny Lightning, Maisto or Matchbox.

One of their first series was called "Big Wheel Pickup" and was made up of 4x4 pickups and SUVs. These were also distributed by WL.

Their "Freeway Monster Playset" included semi trucks with trailers and car sets.

In 2003, Imperial Toy had purchased Buddy L and began offering toy vehicles under this brand name and included both Summer and Mega Speed castings in this line's offerings.

In 2006, their most recent released series was called "Mega Racer". Other unnamed series from other distributors were also appearing in that same decade. The only common denoninator for the Mega Speed offerings is described as an unknown (?) logo.

No, current WWW information was found other than secondary market re-sales.

Mega Speed is not the same company as - and has no direct - association with Megatoys (USA).

A known casting is a light green Renault A110 with a black base, dark tinted window and chrome rimmed wheel sets.

An unspecified association with Wal Mart is also noted.
