I can't see running that ugly wing on the back of the car!

You might get away with running it on carpet.

Would that wing be big enough to replace the wing everyone uses on there
car today??

All in all the car body looks KOOL!

Looks like the front end is alot stronger too!

Has anyone ran one yet.

If you lower the wing all most to the deck lid and the cut the side dams to fit the back leaving them as big you can it might be a good wing, you would have a bit of a side dam since that is what you are using on a big wing.kinda like the velodrome cars a wing off the back.

Thanks for all the positive comments so far. I wasn't sure what to expect.

Pictures can always be a little deceiving. I think once you see the body first hand, it's pretty close to the full size versions. Keep in mind our RC cars really still aren't even close to the actual proportions of the full size cars, so we have to fudge a little on the scale reductions.

We did reduce the space under the nose slightly in proportion to the full sise COT car to accommodate varying tire sizes on the RC cars. Also the display body in the pictures has the maximum material left on around the bottom and on the wing (cut on trim lines). Local rules can set the limits they want on trimming the body and wing. Certainly the rear wing kickup can be trimmed for tuning purposes on handling.

I would prefer the wing position and sideboards be kept as indicated on the body. This would maintain the scale appearance to the full size cars and equalize the aerodynamics. The rear brackets and wing sideboards are indicated in the wheelwells to be trimmed and attached.

Great job on the COT Gary!! I have one question about it though. When the body is trimed to the minimum can the roof height of 4.25in be met? All of the tracks up here follow the ROAR spec of min of 4.25 for roof neight. I have been using the Fusion since it has been out and it the best balanced body i have ever used but i would like to try the COT.

Tj-Very nice paint job. Good paint schemes always make a difference.

I think maybe some of the early objections to the COT cars was due to the ugly test car paint, or lack of it. Now that we are seeing cool paint jobs on the COT cars they don't look so bad.

There should be no problem with the 4 1/4" roof minimum with the COT body. Again we tried to capture the look of the full size cars, which means a bigger "green house". Glad you like the Fusion, that's the body I run as well.
